The Behringer U-PHORIA UMC204HD adds MIDI connectivity and analog inserts to two Midas-designed microphone preamps. With conversion up to 24-bit/192 kHz, four output channels, and flexible monitoring controls, it makes room for more connections in your studio.

ANALOG INSERTS
Integrate your outboard gear.
Two analog inserts allow you to use external processors such as appropriate compressors or EQs in your recording input path. In addition to audio connectivity, there are also separate inputs and outputs for MIDI data.
MONITORING CONTROL
Balance input with playback.
The Input/Playback Mix control balances direct input with audio coming from the computer. Stereo/Mono selection and Monitor A/B source selection for headphones allow you to set up your recording and monitoring layout according to your needs.

What is the difference from the UMC202HD?
The UMC204HD offers four output channels, MIDI in/out, two analog inserts, and Input/Playback Mix and A/B monitoring controls.
Does MIDI connection carry audio?
MIDI connection is for note and control data. To record the audio of a keyboard, you must connect the keyboard's audio output to an appropriate audio input separately.
Do four outputs mean four microphone inputs?
No. The UMC204HD has two audio inputs and four audio output channels. If you need four microphone inputs, you can look at the UMC404HD model.
